Whether it’s running errands around town, taking a road trip or just driving with multiple passengers, rear seat entertainment systems are a wonderful addition to just about any vehicle. Headrest Video Screens

JML Audio offers factory-fit, NHTSA-compliant headrest replacement systems that are exact factory matched upholstery with high resolution video screens from 7-9 inches included. These are constructed to the same standards as factory equipment. This allows flawless installation and an easy route to return the vehicle to its original condition. Options may include wireless headphones, on-board DVD or multimedia card players and external jacks to connect a tablet or game system. We can also customize a solution for hard-to-fit vehicles where an active head restraint is in place, or where the seat back and headrest are integral and replacement of the headrest portion is not an option. All of these rear seat video systems can be controlled from the headrest itself, or from a separate media source such as the in-dash DVD player. There are many fantastic options. We strive to make it easy for rear seat passengers to enjoy their movies and music, allowing the driver to focus on the road.

Overhead Video Screens

JML Audio offers overhead video screens that flip down when in use, but hide neatly when not in use. This is an added measure of security as well as offers a footprint for a larger screen size, in some cases up to 23 inches. Typical overhead video screens are 10-17 inches diagonally and many include onboard DVD players, game system inputs or wireless headphones. The larger size of the screen and roof mounted position allows more passengers to effectively view it, both directly facing it and at an angle (off-axis). Overhead video screens can be use as a stand-alone multimedia system with only the headphones, or connected to the car’s existing audio system speakers (or both). If your vehicle already has a factory-installed overhead video screen, chances are excellent that the expert technicians at JML Audio can interface it into a new multimedia in-dash head unit to add even more capabilities and viewing choices. SUVs, crew cab trucks and RVs are often the vehicles in which the overhead screens are installed, but we’ve installed them in golf carts, side-by-side off road vehicles, boats and many other applications.

Tablet Mounts

If you use a tablet for all of your multimedia viewing, JML Audio can install custom mounts and hard-wired power connections that allow safe docking of the tablet and keep it charged. Depending on the application, the experts at JML Audio can route the on-screen tablet content to other screens in the car to ‘share’ the content with other passengers. Wireless Bluetooth headphones or (with a compatible data plan) streaming Internet-based content like Pandora Radio or YouTube are also options.
